Experience a special day cooking with Rosina in the equipped kitchen of her lovely home located in one of the most characteristic and historical towns of Friuli – Cividale – also well known for it top wines, great food and close position to the finest wine cellars of the region!
Rosina is a delightful lady and a self taught cook passionate about sharing the many recipes passed down from generation to generation in this beautiful corner of north-eastern Italy. Always using the season’s freshest ingredients, Rosina will teach you how to prepare typical Italian and Friulian recipes, followed by lunch and tasting of local wine.
The cooking class begins at 10.30 a.m. and lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
In the afternoon, guided visit of Cividale del Friuli, with its famous Devils’ Bridge, mysterious Celtic Hypogeum, historical Lombard Temple as well as its lively atmosphere that you can breathe strolling around the narrow cobble stone streets leading to the enchanting Main Square.
The day will draw to a close with a visit to a local winery and wine tasting!

- The tour starts at Venice train station. You will take the train and travel from Venice to Udine unescorted. Train tickets are included in the tour package and will be sent to you via email, together with train schedule, vouchers and all travel details. You must specify the name and address of your accommodation as well as your contact telephone number during your stay in Venice at the time of booking. This information is very important in case you need to be contacted regarding changes in train/tour departure times. The train leaves at 8.04 am and you are advised to be at the train station at least 15 minutes before train departure. The train arrives at Udine train station at 9.53 am and the local tour guide will meet you at the exit, by the ticket office, holding a sign with your name. At the end of the tour, the guide will take you back to Udine train station and assist you on departure. You will travel back from Udine to Venice unescorted.
